Sydney Arceneaux is an American documentary filmmaker and researcher from Texas, currently based in Los Angeles. 

 

With roots in nonprofit advocacy and fundraising, she approaches her filmmaking with curiosity, care and a deep commitment to the impact of her films. 

 

Her films have screened at festivals and venues internationally including the New Orleans Film Festival, BIFA qualifying Sunrise Film Festival, Worcester International Film Festival, and the Hammer Museum.

 

She is currently an MFA documentary film student at UCLA and holds an MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from London School of Economics, a BSc in Chemistry and a BA in Liberal Arts Honors from University of Texas at Austin.
